Gravois Jefferson Development Review Committee

The Development Review Committee (DRC) is a 13-member, resident-led committee that reviews and provides feedback for development projects within the footprint of the Gravois Jefferson Historic Neighborhoods Plan.

The Development Review Committee does not have legal authority over development decisions, but seeks to protect the community's needs in future neighborhood developments.

Are you planning a development within the Gravois Jefferson plan area?

We encourage you to submit an application and scorecard for review by the Development Review Committee. If the DRC finds that your project is alignment with the Gravois Jefferson Historic Neighborhoods Plan, we will provide you with a letter of support to submit with any applications to the City of St. Louis or State of Missouri.

The DRC reviews all commercial, industrial, institutional, and mixed-used developments as well as residential developments with 6 or more units within the Gravois Jefferson footprint (see the map). Institutions include healthcare, education, religion, nonprofits, and financial. We especially encourage applications from projects seeking public funding or a zoning variance.

DSCC staff will review and score your application and pass this information along to the DRC. Then, you will be invited to join the DRC at their next meeting, where the DRC will ask questions and vote on whether to provide project support.

Submit the contact form below to learn more about the review process and receive an application.
